Bakunin
At the intersection of 2nd Sovetskaya and Degtyarnaya st, not far from Vosstaniya Square, one finds a boutique-café “Bakunin” – the favourite place of the city’s beer-geeks. What allows the place to stand out is its distinguished character that has been shaped since 2013. The spirit of anarchism has initially ensured its presence. So did passion! Passion and love for the good, even best beer. It was this passion that encouraged the founder of the Bakunin beer boutique, Alexander Romanenko, to gather altogether other like-minded people – Yuri Mitin and Vladimir Naumkin, in order to establish an irreversible process of fair beer production. The very first office of theirs was situated precisely in the boutique, where brand new know-hows were being invented. In fact, Bakunin still serves as a place for presenting new beer sorts. And, certainly, thematic events, dedicated to beer, also take place in here. Thus, Bakunin is not merely a bar-boutique with a great variety of beer. Bakunin is a story. Character. People.
