The Pharmacy Museum Cluj - Mnit

Recently renovated pharmacy museum focusing on the history of pharmacy in Transylvania, in the original location of the most famous pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, in the Mauksch-Hintz house. Some of the ground floor rooms preserve their original decoration and functions: the Officina - where medicine was actually sold, with an impressive 18th-century fresco, the storage room, and the pharmacist's office. The basement is used for the display of archaeological artifacts discovered in the courtyard, the history of the Hintz House, and pharmaceutical laboratory goods. The last two halls are dedicated to a more recent collection of hospital equipment.
