Borges Cartea de Nisip (The Sand Book) is one of the oldest bookstores in Timisoara. The idea of a place to host a cozy bookstore and a place for high quality cultural events was the idea from which it all begun in 2009. In 2018 we are celebrating our 10th year anniversary. Located on the pedestrian alley of Alba Iulia, Cartea de Nisip Bookstore opens to the traveler in time, space and imagination, offering a glimpse of the old spirit of Timișoara. Here you will be able to find beautiful books, travel guides, souvenirs, challenging board games, children books, fantastic music and the good vibe shares by our friendly booksellers.
