I make your portrait on metal plate using the same process that the pioneers of photography used in the 19th century, called the wet collodion process, assists the entire magical experience of the process and leave with unique and unrepeatable portrait in a metal plate. The Almaquímica studio was born in March 2022, in Porto, was created with the purpose of a space dedicated to the practice of photography with the wet collodion process. In addition to a 19th century portrait studio, is dedicated to the teaching, divulgation and artistic development of this process invented in 1851, bringing it back to the present day.
