By reservation only, OMAKASE EXPERIENCE offers traditional Japanese cuisine in Braga. Omakase means trusting the chef, and it is a traditional style of Japanese tasting cuisine. Chef Michael Choi graduated from Japanese schools and was also a Finalist in the Sushi World Cup in Tokyo representing Portugal. Chef Michael Choi learned from his South Korean grandmother since childhood. It was a family business that started after the South and North Korea war. Choi's family moved to Brazil with 50 families. After that, his grandparents started to prepare Korean and Japanese cuisine with love and care for all their lovely guests. This is just the beginning of Choi's family journey. With the influence of his Mom, who lived in Japan for a few years, his passion for both culinary arts increased.
