Following the success of Obido’s Olaria de S. Pedro, Olaria de S. Pedro in Sintra came to be - it is the showcase of Sonia Borga's atelier. In Óbidos, Sintra and online the Olaria S. Pedro proposes contemporary ceramics of several Portuguese authors. Creative ceramics, small-scale craft productions that mark their uniqueness and genuinely manual character. Sónia Borga as an artist: "At the age of 20, I discovered clay, could create with my hands, and I just knew I wanted to be a ceramist !! In my atelier, drawing, I give shape to the objects of my world ... the will transforms the clay with textures and colours that are the reflection of the joy with which I work each one of these small pieces. I have the idea that objects, created with dedication, are born to occupy a place in space and time, and someone, when they find them then they realize what they are for them"
