Santa Clara House offers a 180 ° view over the Tagus. In the center of the most typical and oldest district: Alfama. It is close to the Pantheon and close to the Castelo de Sao Jorge. Santa Clara House is not an apartment, but a town house on two floors with three rooms in a compromise between traditional portuguese and modern style. Located in a dead end street without any vis-a-vis, its calm location will ensure total relaxation. The prestige bedroom has a double bed, one or two extra beds can be added. The romantic bedroom has two single beds. one extra bed can be added. The horizon bedroom has a double bed and a little balcony. The cabin room has a double bed, and it's the only one don't have view. Two bathrooms (one bath and one spa shower) are available. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and hob, washing machine, dish washer machine, microwave, refrigerator, small appliances, dishes ..... Finally you can relax in the lounge (music, TV, video, books, games ...), where you can also have breakfast, or other meals. At last you will find there the events not to be missed as well as essential information about the daily life in Lisbon. All linen is provided. Santa Clara House is located less than 5 minutes walk from public transportation: streetcar N°28 (the famous electric train from Lisbon), metro (blue line station Santa Apolonia), train (Santa Apolonia ). If you are driving, parking can be done easily in the street, and there are no parking meters (hoping it's going to last ...). Within 2 minutes walk you will be at Feira da Ladra, the famous flea market of Lisbon, within 5 minutes walk you can reach and visit the Museum of Fado. In the evening you will find close to the house the typical restaurants of Portugal with their fado singers. Only 15 minutes are needed to reach the Baixa district in the city center, which will lead you to the Chiado area (shopping district), and to the Bairo Alto area, the famous night life area.
