Casa Mocambo is a Restaurant-Bar Art Gallery The plates served in the "Dining Room" of Casa Mocambo are inspired by the aroma of mixed Old Lisbon in between with the flavours of the Ex-Portuguese colonies like, Angola, Mozambique, Cape-Vert, São Tomé e Princípe, Guinee and Brazil, spiced with love in gastronomic-cultural fusion with the rest of the world. On the ground floor, the Sonoro-Visual Gallery is an exhibition space for the creative forms of human expression, music, visual art and others that print a message. Casa Mocambo was built with fragments of other houses from the memory of the Old Mocambo of Lisbon and the translation of the word Mocambo that means "Refuge" in Ovimbundo (one of the languages of Angola) and is the origin of the word "quilombo" in Brazil. It's objective is, through the palate and the senses, to go to the impalce of the identity of the brunette-coffee-paved lisbon café and to be the home-refuge of the observant strollers of the world.
