Juan Bobo y La Canasta

Juan Bobo y la Canasta is a famous sculpture in San Juan, representing a story of the folklore character Juan Bobo. "La canasta de Juan Bobo" tells the story of when Juan Bobo's mom asks him to get water from the river. He picks the biggest basket and comes back with it, all empty. His stories narrate the sympathy of his adventure and common occurrences and are vehicle for Puerto Rican life and traditions.
