Niewidzialna Ulica
"Niewidzialna Ulica" ( Invisible Street) is an unique sensory center that holds an exhibition in complete darkness, where the guides are visually impaired people in different stages of blindness. It’s one of the few places like that in Poland, and the only one which has a tram carriage inside. Even during the night, you can’t experience the darkness that is present on Niewidzialna Ulica. A walk on Niewidzialna Ulica elicits all your hidden senses. We guarantee you, this journey will be unforgettable. Exhibition in complete darkness, became a workplace for 5 people with certificate of disability (for some of them, it was the first work in their life). “Niewidzialna Ulica” is a unique place in national scale and the only one that has a tram carriage inside. The heart of “Niewidzialna Ulica” is specially prepared exhibition, which guests can feel with every sense except for their sight. The exhibition allows people to face challenges that visually impaired people beat daily: getting into public transport, avoiding obstacles left by other people on the pavement (for ex. in the form of a rentable electric scooter) etc., all in complete darkness. Getting into the shoes of a disabled person, even if only for a moment, is very important, as it helps to raise awareness and make people more sensitive to the matter.
