COFFEEJOZO is a tiny authentic atmospheric coffee shop, established by two specialty coffee passionates – by industrial designer and a Ph.D. in Veterinary Science. That fact alone shows the uncommonness of this coffeeshop. According to its founders, the COFFEEJOZO name consists of two words – 'coffee’ itself, and jōzō with means ‘brew’ in Japanese. The process of coffee brewing, on par with the coffee taste itself, is a cornerstone of COFFEEJOZO's vision of the ’SPECIALTY’ approach. The notion ’specialty’ should be applied not to the coffee beans only, but to the brewing process as well. The brewing process should be beautiful, kind of a show. That’s why the barista’s zone is designed in such a way that it allows guests to observe the brewing majesty sitting in front of the barista. In this meaning, the COFFEEJOZO might more properly have been called a ‘brew bar’.
