The Ruud farm is a living mountain-farm with log- houses, dairy cattle and steep fields. There are horses and hens, herb gardens and flowerbeds on terraced plains. The original Cultural cottage consists of two continuous old houses with open fires. Here most of the food is prepared and served. In the old barn we have seating capacity for 80 guests. An old mountain farm barn is reconstructed into an open-heart house, and a great grandmother `s kitchen. All food is homemade, and the culinary experiences are seasoned with stories of traditional cookery. The adventure of the Cultural cottage at Ro started 10 years ago. To us the concept cultural based (founded) business activity has become a reality. Throughout these years our doors have been open to guests from far and near. Our culinary experiences have gradually given us lots of faithful guests and great experiences.

Skei Mountain Church is beautiful located between spruce forest by the foot of Skeikampen. The church is consecrated on the 4th of november 2001 by bishop Rosemarie Kohn who was bishop at that time. Skei Mountain Church is owned by a foundation, and is run by locals working in their spare time. The altar piece is painted by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. The architec is by Eivind Eriksen, and the church was built by the help of locals, tourists, and many local businesses. The church is open for public twice a week during the summer- and winter season. The church can be rented for weddings, christenings, concerts, and other celebrations.

Experience the atmosphere of beautiful Aulestad! The Nobel laureate Bjornstjerne Bjornson lived here with his family from 1875. The home is one of the best-preserved artist homes in Norway. Join a guided tour of the home and experience the surroundings and atmosphere from the active days of the socially engaged author. Lovely garden and a great exhibition about Bjørnson's life and literature. Nice café with lunch and blueberry pancakes like Bjørnson himself liked them. Approximately 18 km from Lillehammer, follow signs from the main road E6 north of Lillehammer. From E6 take highway 225 towards Gausdal, and follow the road past the center of Follebu to Aulestad. Free parking lots by the road. There is a bus connection from the train station in Lillehammer.

Raspberry farm, partly ecologically, season late juli/august. The farm has four timber buildings from the 17th century, placed along what used to be one of the main roads between Oslo and Trondheim. The houses are now used as farm shop, storage and café. Stunning view over Gudbrandsdalen, the raspberryfield and the Olympic torchman. Activities for kids such as treasure hunt, rabbits, balanceforrest and picking your own raspberries.
