The exhibition focuses on information about environment, climate, nature on the island and local industry, reflecting the activity in the center`s research department. Learn about the species of the Runde bird cliffs. The famous Runde treasure from the 1725 Akerendam shipwreck is an important part of the exhibition. Ocean energy and wave power are also important elements. At Runde Environmental Centre you will also find a cafè and apartments for accommodation (Opplev Runde - accommodation) Opplev also offers guided experiences.

Tourist Information Office in Orsta

The orstad Tourist Information Office shared a house with the orsta Art Gallery. The ground floor contains an art exhibition area with various exhibitions, and here you also fint the tourist information. It is open troughout the year. The Olav Stromme collection can be admired at the 1.st floor. With a few exeptions it is exposed continuously. The building also hosts concerts and lectures among other things.
