Røverstaden – a new stage for culture in Vika is 2 min from the Castle / City Hall. The three story marble building contains a pizza restaurant, cafe, cocktailbar and concert venue with modern surroundings. Between 1971 - 1989 known artists and bands like Ronnie Wood, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gil Scott Heron, Miles Davis among others played here. The same stage is used today.
