Gurisentret

Gurisentret is a regional cultural and coastal pilgrimage center with experiences and activities for the whole family. We want to tell the old stories in new ways, and our exhibition consists of a number of digital solutions. Together with the breeding facilities for salmon Nekton, we have a viewing center for aquaculture. In addition, you can, among other things, let yourself be carried away by the Vikings' everyday life while you stroll around with your mobile phone. The Gurisentret is located close to the ferry quay on Edøya and thus becomes a natural stop for those who want to explore Smøla, or have a cup of coffee and look at the view. If anyone is hungry, we can offer our tapas package Ureist or our lunch package cold dizzy in the stomach or other baked goods.
