Bergmannskroa

Løkken Verk is located right in the heart of Trøndelag, surrounded by beautiful nature with many opportunities for experiences. Here you can go hiking, find calm fishing lakes or try salmon fishing in the famous salmon river Orkla. Løkken Verk is a small place that was built around the mining business that started here in 1654. It was 333 years of mining here. Now the mine is closed, but you can still experience the mining community. You can visit Gammelgruva and learn more about mining in ancient times, or take a ride on the Thamshavn line , which is Norway's oldest electric railway. A lot of good local food is also made in our area, and you can taste this at Bergmannskroa . This summer you can spend the night at both Bergmannskroa and the historic Orkla Guesthouse .
