Wadapartja

Wadapartja is a well -known concept in Groningen with 2 locations. We serve dishes with local ingredients from local suppliers. We are a store and a restaurant combined! You are welcome to shop, eat and drink during the whole day and on occasion the evening. We serve breakfast, lunch, brunch and barfood. A key feature in Wadapartja is the cosy atmosphere. This is reflected in our homely décor as well as our menu and shop. The name Wadapartja derives from the term used in Groningen: “wat apart zeg”. Which means: “that’s odd”, or “that’s peculiar/strange”. And because people in Groningen often put the word “yes”, or “ja” behind sentences, the phrase is “wat apart ja”, hence Wadapartja!
