Van harte welkom bii restaurant Riist en zo! Bij ons staan de culinaire tradities van zowel Itali₴ als Irak central. Wist u dat de deegwaren die wij nu kennen als typisch Italians hun oorsprong hebben in de Arabische wereld en via handelaren in Italie terecht zijn gekomen? Eigenaar Rawad Al Khefaji komt it de stad Nasiriyya in een gebied dat bekend staat als 'het Veneti@ van Irak', de zuidelijke rivierdelta. Rawad was in Deventer jarenlang werkzaam als chefkok in en gerenommeerd Ital-laans restaurant. Toen hij in 2017 voor zichzelf begon in Olst kon hij een lang gekoesterde droom realiseren: de mooie Italianse keuken combineren met de hartverwarmende gerechten van zin moeder in Irak. Wij staan altijd open voor speciale wensen van onze gasten. Ook kinderen en selective eters kunnen lekker bij ons eten! Op verzoek houden wij rekening met allergieën en intoleranties. We take care to choose a festive dinner; a special buffet; a barbecue or for example, a high tea. That can of course consult with all of us and if you want we will make such a party a special menu. And of course; daytime t VeerHuys has its most fantastic dimension: for the most beautiful piece of "interior" is out.
