There is mention of the ‘De Pippert’ name in documents dating from c.1500, but the current farm building dates from 1845 and is situated directly opposite Ophemert Castle.The lanes and footpaths in the vicinity of the castle are well worth discovering and the neighbouring Mariabos, a large area of woodland, is an excellent place for children to play or build dens.The farm lies in the heart....
