BIRD is equal parts restaurant, club and live venue. Deeply rooted in jazz, BIRD also branches out to soul, funk, R&B, hip hop and electronica and is regarded as thé spot for the cultural omnivore. The name BIRD is a reference to the nickname of the great saxofonist Charlie Parker so the link to jazz is quickly made, but BIRD also stands for tasty pizza's, metropolitan rawness, good wines, no-nonsense beers, party people, headbangers and necksnappers.
