Bed&Breakfast in a villa in a quiet village near Alkmaar. Surrounded by water and beautiful garden. Swimming pool and 2 kano’s available. 1 guestroom with a double bed (1.80x2.00) and 1 guestroom with 2 separate extra large boxspring beds (0.90x2.20 m) on the first floor of the villa. Bathroom with shower, wc and sink on the same floor. If a room is booked by 2, then the bathroom is for private use. When a company of 4 (family or friends) have booked both rooms, the bathroom has to be shared. Never to be shared by strangers however. The village is called Zuid-Scharwoude and is situated in North-Holland near the Northsea beaches, the beautiful Beemster and the Schermer polders (lots of windmills and UNESCO Heritage), Alkmaar with its famous cheesemarket on Fridays in the season, also near Schagen, folkloristic market on Thursdays in season and the beautiful historic little VOC towns on the IJsselmeer, like Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik and Edam.
