Trattoria Bolognina

Trattoria Bolognina can be found in an ancient but recently renovated building, situated in the middle of Castelvetro hills. In spring and summer the building looks like as an huge explosion of colours, given by the enormous amount of flowers in which the main door of the building is covered by. The menù is renowned especially for the main course, composed of hand-made egg-based pasta: Tortellini (egg-pasta filled in meat), Tortelloni (egg-pasta filled in Ricotta, a soft italian cheese), Gramigna with sausage and Tagliatelle with ragù. Other dishes are, but not limited to, typical cheeses and cured meats, grilled local game meats, gnocco fritto (fried bread-like pasta) and tigelle (not fried bread-like pasta). Everything to be combined with the house wine !
