Il Panificio Cerulli
The Cerulli Bakery was founded in the early 1900s when Corrado Cerulli's grandfather, Pompeo Luigi, the progenitor of the current management, started the business and then continued with the following generations. Corrado Cerulli is therefore a child of breadmaking art, which has been formed "on the field" since he was just 12 years old. From the opening of the current store in via San Nicola da Tolentino in 1937, in the heart of the ancient Trevi district, the Panificio Cerulli has been making bread for over half a century, a real passion. Every day are produced quintals of bread; most are sold to restaurants, bars, hotels and bakeries. The activity, currently run by the three sons of Corrado - Roberta, Fabio and Umberto - is now the reference point for all those, Roman or otherwise, who love the genuineness of artisanal bakery products, such as bread, pizza and a wide selection of gastronomic creations.
