The name Regina Sofia comes from a nice happening. one day, in our fish restaurant, we received an unexpected visit from the actress Sophia Loren. She asked us to serve her a focaccia pizza with the main dish, and because we didn't have a wood oven at that time, we went and ordered a focaccia at a pizzeria nearby. She ate it, but noticed the deception and as a joke she said: „O Napulitan se fa sicc ma nun mor" and smiled. She meant, Neapolitan people always find a solution to make their guests happy. Our answer was: "You know what? We will open a restaurant with a wood oven and we will call it Regina(Queen) Sofia"
