The hamlet, an agricultural estate, was purchased in 1735 by a cadet branch of the noble Medici family and over the centuries grew around the family’s manor house. Still today the grand noble mansion towers high above the Relais’ welcoming contemporary buildings. In the Florentine hills overlooking the Chianti Valley, only 15 minutes from Florence and estled among olive groves, you will find this charming 16th-century villa. Today Relais Villa Olmo features cosy rooms, junior suites with private garden and family suites, private villas, and a farmhouse composed of Deluxe Rooms. The buildings are made with stone and the famous Impruneta traditional terracotta. The rooms are furnished in the best decor and most modern services. A beautiful cellar where you can enjoy a free guided tour throught the history of the territory and an explanation about the production of our Diadema Damare Wines.
