Founded in 1817 by Antonio Cova, a Napoleonic solider, Pasticceria Cova is one of Milan’s oldest pasticceria, an iconic place where tradition meets elegance and style. Today, the Montenapoleon restaurant and caffè offers a journey of delectable discovery, inviting guests to experience signature Italian hospitality and a true taste of Milanese cuisine within exquisitely designed interiors from breakfast to aperitivo.

The opening of Pasticceria Marchesi in via Monte Napoleone 9 marks the expansion of the historic Milanese café from its original home in almost 200 years. The design concept reinterprets in a new, modern ambient the classic allure of the landmark site: the marble-topped bar with cherry wood and glass cabinets, the mirror-backed shelf displaying an array of classical aperitifs, and the pastry display cases with curved hinge-tops are a heritage of the authentic Belle Époque atmosphere belonging to the first Marchesi store.
