HISTORY The bed and breakfast La Locanda di Sant’Anna takes its name from the nearby church which dates back to the XV century, between the middle ages and the renaissance. In the church, behind the altar, you can admire a fine fresco dated 1533, a little shrine with San Carlo Borromeo’s relics dated 1573, a perfectly preserved crypt and different references to Virgin Mary’s miracles, as in the near church of Rezzano. During years, close to Sant’Anna church, was built the Cascina Corte Francesca, creating the town of Incugnate, a suburb of Truccazzano, inside the Adda Sud natural park. THE TURNING POINT The building has been owned by the Michelots for 30 years, a family dedicated to the beauty and cosmetics business. The B&B La Locanda di Sant’Anna was founded in 2015, the same year of EXPO in Milan. It is located in a farmhouse built 500 years ago, and it was part of a typical building of that period, the so-called “Corte”, usually composed by different houses with a nice garden in the middle. In those years, people used to live and gather around the church. The B&B is a real gem, it is composed by 4 exclusive rooms, all accessible by elevator, equipped with new bathrooms, air conditioning, wifi, tv, 2 pools, 1inside and 1outside, a big hall and the breakfast room, which is located exactly where once there was the tavern of the town. B&B is also only 5 minutes away from different rail stations that easily lead you to the centre of Milan and to the Rho Fiera .
