Fattoria del Colle is a sixteenthcentury farm, a 336 hectares estate, south of Siena. 6 hectares of Olive groves and 17 of Vineyards. Sangiovese, Foglia Tonda, Merlot, Sagrantino and Traminer are the main vines cultivated. The estates also has 5 truffle preserves for the production of white truffles. The winery is on four levels. It begins with the medieval hermitage. Walking through the old cellar and among the barrels visitors reach the loft where Vinsanto is aged. Fattoria del Colle is a place of memory and local traditions. The wine production areas are Chianti and Orcia Doc. Among the main labels there are Chianti Superiore Docg, Cenerentola Orcia Doc and three Igt wines, besides Vinsanto del Chianti and Extra virgin Olive Oil.
