Castello di Tagliolo

Castello di Tagliolo, owned by Pinelli Gentile family since 1498, overlooks a vast area of vineyards of the Alto Monferrato, acknowledged long ago as among the best for the production of Dolcetto di Ovada wines. All the wines are obtained from selected grapes grown on family estate vineyards, including the famous "Castagnola", a unique dolcetto produced only in the best vintages and oak-aged, the Riserva del Marchese sparkling, Bianco and Rosso del Castello family blends, a late harvest Ambra Nobile, a dolcetto aromatised with herbs and the Grappe. Events such as weddings and gala dinners can be held inside the Castle, as well as overnight stays in the charming furnished Guest House of the Medieval village surrounding the Castle.
