Being so close at hand, the woods allow trekking fans excellent walks or horse rides, mushroom-gathering excursions, while history lovers are prized with visits to the number of castles established in the area. The "Via Francigena", one of whose trails passes very close to our valley, allows interesting discoveries about the medieval world and way of living.
