You will not miss to go to the near town of Soave with its medioeval walls and well preserved Castello Scaligero where you will be transported into the realms of knights and noble ladies. The proximity to Verona allows unforgettable visits to the town of Romeo and Juliet. Only 30-min drive from Corte dei Soavi, the two lovers’ town offers many attractive destinations like The Arena, art museums and exibitions, cultural events, crowded bars in the centre and restaurants typical of the Venetian culture. The “rural forecourt” is an architectural area and at the same time a kind of social organisation existing in Northern Italy since the Middle Ages. It consists of a group of residential buildings closed in a circle or in a U shaped area where used to live the owner of the property or some families that cultivated their own piece of land in the surroundings.
