Demonte 12014
In the 12th century Castrum Demontis, whose present name is Demonte, rose in the wide and green Stura Valley that connects the Padana Plain and the town of Cuneo with the wonderful Provence. Nowadays, Demonte is a delightful village full of history and Medieval works. Through the ancient Gerbo Gate Castrum Demontis was supplied with products coming from the rich Stura Valley. The gate has been pulled down and a renowned hotel has been built there instead. The Hotel Moderno is a safe and comfortable "Three Stars Hotel" where families feed at thier ease. Demonte is at 780 metres above sea level, thus it is an ideal place for children and old people; moreover, the proximity of the Romar Baths of Bagni di Vinadio allows you to enjoy a pleasant curative stay. The hotel is situated in a strategic position: it is secluded to afford you peacefulness but at the same time it is very close to historic center. The private garden is a perfect place to relax and play. As far as food is concerned, the typical Piedmontese dishes are prepared all the year pound and you can taste both national and international wine.
