Agriturismo Villa il Leccio

Agriturismo Solaia is composed by two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room with patio, kitchen, a second little living room with boiler for the, coffee machine, free parking, free internet wifi. We are at only 10 km by Florence, in the Chianti countryside. We called our little villa 'Solaia' because in the ancient tongues it well describes just what it is, 'a place where the sun splashes'! The core of our hamlet holds a history from 1100AD clear up to a few decades ago where farmers and sharecroppers shared daily life & farm chores together with stories & memories, which all surface within our household decor. After living here for years our family sees the 'Solaia' as a peaceful homecoming that continues to amaze us with its ever-changing colorful landscapes that change with every season. We have worked hard to preserve the history and character of the generations that have cherished this as home, giving them a piece of today's 'Solaia' with their names on some of our rooms: Ida, Picchino. We're happy to share our peaceful, historic and hospitably sunny place with you and we're sure you'll enjoy it like we have for generations.
