The Curragh Racecourse is a great family day out (under 18s go free) at very competitive ticket prices. Free kids entertainment and a playground as well as a chance to see Ireland's best thoroughbred horse racing provides something for all the family. The Curragh is Ireland's premier international horse racing venue and home of Ireland's 5 classic races, including the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby. Located just 40 minutes by car from Dublin and 5 minutes from Kildare Village the racecourse hosts 23 race days from March to October as well as a fully-guided behind scenes tours through the year. Admission prices from €15.00. Under 18s go free when accompanied by an adult.
