140 Capel Street
Dublin
McNeills of Capel Street Established in 1834 began life as a traditional Irish music instruments shop before evolving to a pub / bar dedicated to furthering and promoting the real culture of traditional Irish Music. A commitment to nurturing Irish music with open sessions held Thursday through Sunday from 9pm with many of the best musicians in the capital regularly playing and visiting. A true institution the history of the premises is long and storied including the fact that the horn that sounded the infamous charge of the light brigade during the Crimean war was constructed in these very rooms. Located centrally a five minute walk from Temple Bar but without the rip off prices or nauseating fakeness, come give us a visit.
