Hold Street 13 Budapest

The world’s largest Light Art Museum, in downtown Budapest. Open everyday from 10 am to 10 pm. Exciting installations and ground-breaking artworks to discover in this fabulous hall that used to be a popular farmer’s market. We are an art initiated museum with a wide range of contemporary, historically significant and modern pieces. We present an exquisite selection of historic light artworks, projection mapping, immersive spaces and site-specific installations including works of art by the pioneer lumeno kinetic artist László Moholy-Nagy and op-art icon Victor Vasarely. We are located in the heritage downtown market hall. We have brought LIGHT art to the historic farmer’s market, a hidden treasure, accessible to the public, providing an extraordinary experience aimed at a broad audience. We created a radically new museum environment enjoyable for all age groups.
