Balázs Folk Art Gallery

The Vándorfény Gallery has a history of more than two decades. In accordance with our ars poetics "Our value is contemporary", our primary goal is to introduce and promote postmodern Hungarian art to an audience that is receptive to beauty and aesthetics. We have been organising solo and group exhibitions in our gallery in the centre of Budapest for fifteen years and have been dealing in art for twenty-five years. Contemporary art is extremely diverse, and so are the works of art on display in our gallery. Each artist has the opportunity to address the viewer with his or her work, whether it is about the past, the present or the future. It has a different message for everyone, and that is one of the things that makes art: it makes it accessible in different ways, yet universal. Our aim is to present artworks to art-loving audiences that have a special visual beauty, yet also a deeper meaning.
