Villa Luna

Villa Luna is a traditional family house located in the old heart of the town of Trogir. It was built by the Rubignoni family in 1456 and it has been owned by the Turković family since 1989. The reconstruction of the villa (it was demolished to the ground) began in 1990, based the instructions given by the curators and the Society for the Protection of Cultural Goods of the Town of Trogir with the goal of restoring its original appearance. The villa now looks exactly like it did 560 years ago. The stone used to for the reconstruction is the same stone which had been used to build it back in 1456, with each piece telling its own story. Villa Luna was completed in October 2015. It has been decorated lavishly, with attention paid to every detail, thus achieving the balance in combining the traditional and modern way of life, allowing each visitor to experience the old spirit of both the villa and the town in a warm atmosphere complemented by all modern-day amenities.
