Bakra – Steak & Pizza Bar is a place where people have been enjoying good company and food since 1947. Over the course of years, fisherman’s and peasant’s dishes were made here. Bakra is also famous for Marana - the finest wood fired oven on market which is responsible for special taste and aroma of our pizzas. Today, food is prepared in accordance with the rules of our famous chef Frane Šerka – we prepare traditional, Mediterranean and innovative food with just a pinch of soul. We will take you to a gastronomic trip through past and we will show you what Split has to offer to the world. On the other hand, we will show you the modern thanks to our chefs’ culinary philosophy and art. They practice modern Mediterranean cuisine based on seasonal ingredients by local producers, daily market offer and constant wish to create something new.
