New Farm

New farm is situated on the outskirts of Barry along the coastal road. Close to many attractions and places of interest. We are a working mixed farm of 500 acres and a suckler beef herd . The house dates back to the early 17th century with the original oak beams evident in the dining room. During Covid work took place to convert the farmhouse B&B (est 1984 ) into a self catering unit for large gathering of upto 14/16 including children. With Sara’s good local knowledge, warm comfortable refurbished rooms visitors returned . You can walk to the pebble beach through our farm lane and into Porthkerry Park. The train station is 5 min car drive away(park and ride) and the bus route passes the farm gate to Cardiff and the airport. Cardiff is approximately 20 minutes by car or train and the airport only 5 minutes.
