Ebenezer Chapel, located on Charles Street in Cardiff, Wales, was built in 1855 using ballast from coal ships returning from the Middle East. Originally established as a Congregational church, it has been a Welsh Independent chapel since 1978, following the merger of the Congregational church with the United Reformed Church.
This Grade II listed building, designed by R.G. Thomas of Newport, is notable for its Gothic architecture. In early 2010, it was sold to developers, with plans to transform the space into two separate restaurants and offices, potentially including a location for Raymond Blanc's Brasserie Blanc restaurant chain.
