Fossil Grove, located within Glasgow's Victoria Park, houses the fossilized remnants of an extensive ancient forest. Discovered on the site in 1887, the fossilized tree stumps are thought to be more than 300 million years old. Housed in a small corner of the attractive Victoria Park in the west of the city, the fossils are open to the public from noon til 5pm, April to September
