The Corrie Hotel

The Corrie Hotel is situated 6 miles north of Brodick ferry terminal (on bus route 324) and is ideal for cyclists, golfers and hillwalkers alike. Goat Fell can be accessed from the village using a variety of pathways for all abilities. The Corrie & Sannox Golf Club is a 9 hole golf course only 1.7 miles away. We offer a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere with a lounge bar and a relaxing lounge as well as a beautiful beer garden situated on the shoreline. We have a variety of accommodation available including singles, twins, doubles, kings and a new deluxe four poster room. We welcome well behaved dogs and we are open all year round, serving lunches and dinners every day in season (booking is advisable). Arran is one of the most accessible of the Scottish islands and one of the most southerly. The line between the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland divides the island almost exactly in two and Arran mirrors the differing landscapes of the country more widely, forming a "Scotland in miniature". Arran has a bit of everything: beaches, forests, glens and mountains. You can even cycle round the island in a day! and there are 7 beautiful golf courses if you like to take things a little more slowly. You can't miss Goat Fell as you approach on the ferry to Arran - it's the island's biggest mountain with spectacular views from the top. The wildlife on Arran is abundant, so pack your binoculars for a chance to see seal colonies, otters, eagles, basking sharks, porpoises, and over 100 species of birds. There's plenty of history, too - head to Brodick Castle for a peek at the ancient seat of power, or Lochranza Castle, with its underground prison, 'the pit'. After all that you might need a bit of sustenance - and Arran's got that covered, too, with local cheese, beer and whisky.
