The Brander Lodge Hotel & Bistro

We have now fully refurbished and added extensive facilities for Weddings making the Hotel a wonderful destination venue. Having been closed for 10 months for Major renovations we re-opened end October 2016 with what could be described now as one of the nicest Hotels in North Argyll. Free WiFi is excellent throughout the Hotel and each bedroom has a 43 inch wall mounted TV for comfortable viewing from bed. The warm, welcome, friendly hospitality continues from the owners and friendly local staff team in this family owned and operated country Hotel & Bistro. The tranquil rural setting is in seven and a half acres of landscaped gardens in the shadows of Ben Cruachan at the mouth of the historic Brander Pass in a sun drenched south facing wee Glen. The Hotel has 21 rooms all en-suite compiling a combination of singles in doubles, kingsize and a two roomed family room with a three bedroom Chalet in the front garden area. The superior downstairs rooms have french doors with a terrace to sit on weather permitting and direct access to our gardens and grounds, fresh espresso pod coffee machine, toweling robes and comfortable space. The Hotels internal renovation and refurbishment program is complete and there will be further additions of building with the added facilities of a 30 seat conference room, new reception entrance and 10 additional ensuite bedrooms late Winter early Spring 2016/17 as business permits, with minimal disruption to guests as it shall be completed in a cordoned off area. The exterior of the lodge has now a colonial veranda framing the approach elevation protecting guests from the Scottish weather those few times it is at its worst :-) and has extended car parking lit at night. Our Menu offers freshly prepared and locally sourced food where possible and portions are generous with a more homely nature, wholesome and hearty.
