215-217 Sauchiehall Street
Glasgow, Scotland G2 3EX
One of the oldest tearooms in Scotland! Mackintosh at the Willow includes the fully restored original Willow Tea Rooms Building at 217 Sauchiehall Street Glasgow, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903 plus a new, integrated Visitor Centre at 215 Sauchiehall Street. This beautiful A listed heritage building is the only surviving Tea Rooms designed entirely by Mackintosh for entrepreneurial tea entrepreneur Miss Catherine Cranston in 1903. The building is also internationally recognised as one of the finest examples in the world of a complete Art Nouveau scheme. After two years of restoration, the building has been brought back to it's former glory and is now a unique 200 seat tea room, restaurant and events venue in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The Visitor Centre includes Retail, Learning and Education, Exhibition and Conference Centre facilities.
