Wild Chesil Centre

Family-friendly visitor centre, shop and cafe with amazing views across Fleet Lagoon. Exhibition and interactive displays about Chesil Beach, Fleet and its wildlife. Bird watching, views under the sea, gifts, boardwalk to the beach and lots more. In the summer months, the Fleet Explorer boat runs tours on the Lagoon to get a closer look at the Little Tern colony which lives on the beach and all the other wildlife that calls the Lagoon its home. The Wild Chesil Centre is run by friendly and knowledgeable staff and local volunteers and is open 7 days a week, from 10am-4pm. It is halfway along the causeway between Weymouth and Portland on the A354 (Portland Beach road - DT4 9XE) There is a pay and display council owned carpark.
