A quirky octagonal early 18th century mini castle that was built originally as the harbour masters house for the scenic harbour of Seaton Sluice the design of which is attributed to Vanbrugh, the builder of nearby Delaval Hall. It has served many functions since and is currently an artist run gallery featuring a wide range of original art and prints by artists from the North East and beyond.
