You couldn’t be more central than this welcoming Thyme restaurant, with St Paul’s Cathedral on one side, Tate Modern on the other and Shakespeare’s Globe just a stroll along the river. There’s even the world-famous Mermaid Theatre right next door, so there’s really no excuse not to soak up some culture.
