The newly re-opened Wilson Art Gallery and Museum is hosting a summer of discovery, from the tots and tales storytelling, and children’s Bang the Drum music making, to uncovering archaeology and creating fossils, to making your own jewellery with jeweller Josie Wickes. The Creative Explorers summer craft club will keep younger visitors busy. The artist led informal workshop summer holiday club is for children aged four to 10 giving them the opportunity to express themselves artistically and explore their creativity. And, there’s the new exhibitions to explore too, Breaking the Cycle and Body Beautiful showcasing diversity on the catwalk and prompting thoughts and creativity on how we can all reuse and repurpose our clothes to protect the environment. Take a look at the summer programme of activities and workshops.
