Sitting beside Tadpole bridge with the River Thames flowing underneath, is our 17th Century inn, The Trout. Full of charm, and character, we welcome families, dog walkers and business alike. Naturally, we are inspired by the river and our menu is brimming with freshly caught fish straight from the river. We're still a true British inn with traditional pub classics at the heart of our seasonal dishes, so you'll always find plenty of choice, including our famous Sunday roasts. The Trout is part of the Butcombe family, and has a selection of our award-winning beer and ales behind the bar, as well as wine, cocktails and spirits.
